I wasn't sure if it would ever happen since the cost of fuel has decreased so dramatically over recent months, but most of the major cruise lines have finally suspended the fuel surcharges for 2009 sailings and beyond.

This past Saturday I disembarked from one of the best big-ship cruises I've ever taken. Even though I'm a huge Royal Caribbean fan, I was worried that I'd feel too crowded with so many passengers onboard. My oh my, was I blown away! Now I
